We seek a passionate, experienced, and committed Practice Leader focused on outcomes for children and young people, maintaining high practice standards and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience managing safeguarding, child in need and protection work, care proceedings, corporate parenting, and youth justice services.
Valuing and developing our workforce is essential, and you should be skilled in engaging with community and voluntary organizations, as well as statutory agencies, especially regarding the new Children’s Social Care Reforms.
Strong leadership, risk management, decision-making, strategic development, and advisory skills are crucial. You will provide advice to senior officials and demonstrate confidence and credibility in safeguarding and performance management. Given financial challenges, efficiency and value for money are key.
