Job summary

Randstad Sourceright in Warwick, UK is seeking an Operational Buyer/Procurement Specialist to lead daily procurement activities and ensure efficient P2P processing within a hybrid work model.

You will manage supplier relationships, source parts, negotiate price changes, and ensure timely purchase orders while collaborating with internal customers to reach business targets. Experience in SAP and direct procurement is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP transactional modules (PS1 ATLAS) in production environments.
• Minimum 5 years in direct procurement.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
• Experience operating in a complex, fast-changing global organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier portfolio, source parts, negotiate price adjustments and resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Manage work queue and ensure POs are issued on time.
• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure early involvement and excellent service.
• Contribute to implementing and using defined procurement processes and systems (P2P, guidelines, IT tools).
• Update supplier evaluation systems to maintain best suppliers and transparency.
• Maintain records of documentation and contract management systems.
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities.

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Operational Buyer/Procurement Specialist where he will be leading Day to day involvement in all the procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the procurement and business targets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Oversee a diverse supplier portfolio, drive initial part sourcing activities, negotiate price adjustment requests, and resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies
• Manage a workqueue and secure that POs are issued in due time
• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
• Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality
• Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities

What You Bring

• Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module, production environment)
• 5+ years of experience in Direct Procurement
• Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
• Ability to work in a complex, fast changing global organizational environment
