Job Description:

OutSystems Systems Software Engineer

We are seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer for a highly innovative company, ideally based in or near London, or remotely in the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team to develop their OutSystems platform. The role involves working in a lean, agile team to enhance software solutions. Due to release cycles across weekends, occasional support may be required once a month on a rota.

If located near Central London, the role offers a hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote; further afield, full remote work is possible.

As an OutSystems Software Engineer, you will analyze, design, and implement trading systems, including live updates, pricing reports, and screens. You will work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and obtain signoff. Proficiency in full-stack Microsoft solutions and C# is essential, along with collaboration in development, testing, and delivery.

Permanent profile requirements:

• At least five years of low-code application development experience using OutSystems.

• Strong relational database skills, especially with Microsoft SQL Server, including designing databases and writing SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working with business users.
• Bright, collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or related field.

Contract details:

Permanent position with a salary up to £90k, depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.

Location: Ideally London-based or remote across the UK.
