Job description

OutSystems Software Engineer is sought by a highly innovative company, ideally either London-based or remotely based in the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team to develop their OutSystems platform. They require bright and passionate OutSystems Software Engineer technologists to impact their mission to innovate and enhance their software solutions within a lean and highly agile team. Due to their release cycles across weekends, you may need to provide support at least once a month as part of a rota. If you are within commuting distance from Central London, the client prefers a hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote; otherwise, fully remote work is considered.

As an OutSystems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing trading systems, as well as developing live updates, pricing reports, and screens. It is essential to work closely with business users and stakeholders to document requirements and obtain sign-off. You should have proficiency across the full stack of Microsoft software solutions, including C#, collaborating with colleagues to develop, test, and deliver solutions.

Permanent profile requirements:

• At least five years of experience in low-code application development using the OutSystems platform.
• Fundamentals in C# and full-stack software engineering.
• Good understanding of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including designing databases and developing SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working with business users on solutions.
• Bright, collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Contract details:

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience plus discretionary bonus

Location: London-based or remote across the UK
