Job summary

Euroclear is seeking an experienced Test Environment Manager to drive the test environment strategy for a major transformation from a monolithic setup to microservices using Java/Kafka/OpenShift, while also supporting the legacy landscape.

The role involves owning environment provisioning, automation, CI/CD integration, monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable test and production environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in managing test environments in a complex enterprise setting.
• Experience with microservices-based ecosystems using OpenShift, Kafka and related tech.
• Hands-on provisioning automation and IaC implementations (e.g., Ansible).
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities; familiarity with CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the test environment strategy for a large transformation program.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and squads to support microservices testing needs.
• Transform environments from Waterfall to On-Demand Agile.
• Provision, design, configure, maintain and decommission test and production environments for OpenShift/Kafka and legacy systems.
• Manage and document environment configurations, dependencies and integration points.
• Plan and schedule test environments for project work; provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Integrate environments with CI/CD pipelines and automate provisioning.
