Our client is a global leader in life sciences, operating across three continents. They are currently seeking an OpenShift Architect to join their team in the United Kingdom. This role offers a competitive salary range of £90,000 - £105,000 and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining containerised solutions, implementing cloud or on-premises infrastructure for IT and Operational Technology (OT), and ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and IT security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain containerised solutions
• Implement cloud or on-premises infrastructure for IT and OT
• Ensure compliance with GMP and IT security controls
• Coordinate QA Qualification in project organization for new facilities
• Develop and implement qualification strategies
• Review and approve Qualification Documents
• Assess and approve technical change requests
• Represent qualification topics during audits and inspections
• Drive CAPA and Effectiveness Checks to completion

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift at an Architect level, proven success in implementing CI/CD pipelines and security tools, and a good understanding of cGMP regulations. Experience with Docker, Swarm, Jenkins, and DevOps principles is essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security tools
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations (preferred)
• Extensive experience with containers (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes)
• Experience with DevOps, Jenkins, and continuous development pipelines
