Job summary

Genesis is building Genesis-World, a Python-first, open-source simulation platform for physical AI. You will maintain the software engineering backbone of a large, fast-moving codebase, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and frictionless adoption across teams.

The role emphasizes infrastructure, tooling, APIs, and architecture, with shared stewardship of the platform from day one. You will collaborate with physics and compiler teams to optimize performance and usability for robotics

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering on large codebases.
• Developer tooling, test infrastructure, CI at scale.
• Experience with JIT compilation, code generation, or GPU computing stacks.
• Ability to debug across Windows, Linux, and macOS on x86 and ARM64.
• Open-source reflexes: triaging issues and reviewing external PRs.

Responsibilities

• Review issues and pull requests with the core team.
• Answer questions from users and contributors.
• Help drive adoption of Genesis-World through improvements to tooling and APIs.
• Contribute to architecture and engineering decisions to keep the platform robust.
