Qualifications

• Proven experience in focused open-source enquiries across social media and digital sources.
• Experience in covert online investigations and evidence gathering.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Data Protection Act, CPIA, RIPA) and policy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to investigators and intelligence teams.
• Conduct covert intelligence and evidence-gathering activity compliant with CPIA, RIPA and other laws.
• Identify online intelligence opportunities to support investigations.
• Present intelligence clearly and in usable formats for SIO requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support intelligence development.
• Maintain knowledge of internet-based technologies and trends for covert online activity.
• Provide training, mentoring and development to colleagues.
• Maintain records with integrity and confidentiality.
