Job summary

The University of St Andrews seeks an enthusiastic Open Research Officer to join the Open Research Team within the Libraries and Museums Unit. You will support day-to-day Research Data Management services and promote open data practices across the research life cycle.

You will assist researchers with depositing data into the university’s research information system, help meet funders’ requirements, and contribute to training and guidance to support an open, inclusive research environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering training and guidance
• Awareness of the academic research process
• Experience supporting research data management

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the Research Data Management service
• Assist the service manager in meeting funders' evolving requirements
• Assist researchers to deposit data into the university's information system
