The University of Exeter invites applications for an Open Research Manager. This full-time, permanent role sits in the Library Content and Open Research grouping, leading the Open Research agenda and embedding openness across our research culture.
Hybrid working blends on-campus activities with home-based tasks, with close collaboration across the Research Division, Exeter IT and the wider research community.

The starting salary will be from £43,482 to £46,049 on GradeF, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
The post holder is the library functional expert for Open Research. Based in the Library Content and Open Research grouping within the library and working very closely with the Research Division, Exeter IT and the University's research community, the post leads on the implementation and development of the University's Open Research Strategy. Going beyond compliance with funder mandates and embedding openness as an essential part of our research culture is critical to the role.
You will be innovative and proactive with a strategic perspective. You will have the ability to lead and manage a small team with an in depth knowledge of current open research agendas.
