Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking enrolled students to act as Open Day Ambassadors. You will welcome prospective students, share your experiences and help visitors understand university life.

You will present information about your course, assist with demonstrations and tours, and support staff during recruitment events. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, acting as a positive ambassador for the university, and coordinating with the marketing team to ensure

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage positively with staff, prospective students, teachers and visitors.
Able to act as a positive ambassador and role model for Manchester Met and its student community.
Proactive, responsible and able to use initiative when required.

Responsibilities

Represent your course and subject area at Open Days and other recruitment events.
Support academic staff by answering questions from prospective students and guests.
Assist with presentations, demonstrations and showcasing department facilities.
Welcome visitors, offer directions and provide general assistance throughout the event.
Lead campus and subject area tours, giving visitors an engaging insight into student life at Manchester Met.
Support the Marketing Team with event set-up and pack-down, including moving and assembling promotional materials.
