Frontiers is seeking a Publishing Development Specialist to drive new journals launches and growth from London, England. You will lead outreach to researchers and editors, build strong collaborations, and grow journal visibility and submissions.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in sales, outreach, and business development with a track record of achieving goals.
• Comfortable working with uncertainty and building new opportunities rather than following a set playbook.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to engage people unfamiliar with the products or initiatives.
• Good grasp of AI-based tools in a business operations context.

Responsibilities

• Reach out directly to researchers and editors to build collaborations and recruit manuscripts.
• Create and execute outreach strategies to boost journal visibility and submissions.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Use AI tools daily to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage your pipeline.
• Build long-term relationships with authors and editors to establish credibility for growing journals.
• Represent journals at conferences, webinars and online events to increase awareness.
