Frontiers Media, a leading open-access publisher, is seeking a proactive Publishing Development professional to drive collaboration with researchers and editors, launch initiatives, and recruit editorial boards. You will manage a dynamic pipeline, leverage AI tools for outreach, and represent journals at conferences to boost visibility and submissions.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in sales, outreach, business development, or other target-driven environments.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to engage researchers and editors.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools in business operations.
• Curiosity about science and willingness to contribute to growing research communities.

Responsibilities

• Reach out directly to researchers and editors to build new collaborations, launch dedicated article collections, recruit Editorial Board members and commission manuscripts.
• Create and execute outreach strategies to increase journal visibility, attract high-quality submissions, and strengthen engagement across research communities.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Leverage AI tools daily to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage the pipeline more efficiently.
• Build long-term relationships with authors, editors, and researchers to establish trust for journals expanding their presence.
• Represent journals at scientific conferences, webinars, and online events to raise awareness and market visibility.
