Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust in Bath is seeking a Band 6 Registered Nurse for the OPAT service to provide high-quality care for patients requiring outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy. You will work with an IV Nurse Practitioner, covering a Mon-Fri schedule 8am-4pm and handling central/PICC line care with in-house training provided.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice, teaching and supporting staff, patients and carers within a supportive, compassionate NHS

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care and community health.
• Able to work autonomously and support service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of a Community IV service for patients attending RUH Bath.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Cover Mon-Fri service and work with the IV Nurse Practitioner.
