Job summary

CVS Veterinary Group's MiNightVet Totnes (Dart Vale) is recruiting an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to lead our dedicated OOH/ECC service in South Devon. You will join a friendly night team and work alongside an OOH Vet, RVN and Twilight Vet to ensure smooth transitions from day to night shifts.

You will benefit from modern facilities, access to a full range of specialist equipment, and development opportunities including a fully funded ECC certificate.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon for OOH/ECC role.
• Willing to work on Sundays on a 1-in-4 rota.
• Access to modern facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide out-of-hours veterinary care and emergencies.
• Collaborate with the OOH team and day staff during shifts.
• Utilise digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house lab.

Well, here at MiNightVet Totnes (Dart Vale) we are currently recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work as our dedicated OOH / ECC Vet. Located in the picturesque South Devon area of outstanding beauty, you will work alongside a friendly and dedicated OOH team which comprises of our OOH Vet, OOH RVN and our Twilight Vet who will help keep the transition smooth from the day team.

You will have access to modern facilities and an extensive range of specialist equipment, including full digital radiography, endoscopes, ultrasound scanner and an in house laboratory.

The role involves working 1 in 4 Sundays, 7:30am-7:30pm, working alongside a Sunday vet and nurse in the day shift and OOH vet and nurse in the night shift (change over at 7pm). This would be an ideal opportunity for you to enjoy the many daytime outdoor activities that the area has to offer which cannot be indulged fully within the constraints of a traditional day rota!
