Vets for Pets Romford is recruiting an Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our growing 24-hour practice. You’ll bring your RVN qualifications and passion for patient and client care, working to a high standard in a well-equipped, supportive team.

This full-time role includes out-of-hours shifts and weekend rota, with a strong focus on teamwork, continuous CPD, and professional development within a locally owned clinic backed by a larger group.

Are you an RVN looking for an exciting new challenge in a growing practice where your hard-earned skills and passions will truly shine? Look no further! We’ve got an amazing opportunity for a qualified nurse to join our Romford team as an Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse.

About us

We’re a thriving 24-hour practice with a well-established team. Our spacious surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including 2 dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, in house laboratory and digital radiographs. We also have a full endoscopy unit, access to CT in one of the branches and are continually looking to invest in the best to improve the services that we can offer to our clients.

Our location offers free on-site parking as well as fantastic transport links into central London in just 25 minutes and out to the Essex countryside within 20 minutes.

About you and the role

You’ll help with the running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients.

You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. They key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

This role is full-time, working out of hours shifts and will include weekends on a rota basis. We understand the importance of a work/life balance and so can be flexible with your shifts and their pattern, come and talk to us about what works best for you and your lifestyle!
