Job summary

SEA Ltd seeks a Material Handler to join the Barnstaple site. The role is onsite five days per week, handling receiving, storage and issuing of materials to support production and operations.

The salary is up to £26k depending on experience, with a strong emphasis on safe handling and accurate ERP-based stock movements. You'll be part of a team that keeps materials flowing, maintains stock records, and supports other departments with timely resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing/logistics environments.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements for material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for material movements.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic IT skills including Word/Excel.
• Numeracy skills for stock control and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack material deliveries.
• Extract and load materials for transport.
• Perform cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
• Transport materials within warehouse/facilities using equipment.
• Inspect material handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Enter material movements into the ERP system.
• Respond to material requests from other departments.
• Dispose of waste materials safely and legally.
