Job summary

RTX is recruiting a Warehouse Associate/Warehouse Operative in Livingston for a full-time, onsite 12-month fixed-term contract. Role includes receiving deliveries, stock checks, picking/packing orders, and compliance with safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, with forklift experience advantageous. You will work in a fast-paced team environment with a focus on accuracy and timely dispatch.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not always essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Forklift/FLT experience or certification is advantageous, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required timescales.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure they are correctly labelled.
• Carry out stock checks and assist with regular stocktaking.
• Keep accurate records of stock movements and warehouse activities.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment where trained and authorised.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse processes.
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the appropriate manager.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required.
