Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking an experienced SOC Shift Lead for an onsite role in Hemel Hempstead. You will oversee daily SOC operations, mentor analysts, and lead major incident responses while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance detection capabilities.

A strong background in MITRE ATT&CK and cloud logs is preferred. The role offers career progression, ongoing training, and exposure to critical national infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex cyber security investigations.
• Strong background in security operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk Enterprise Security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery of a busy SOC on a shift basis.
• Act as senior escalation point during your shift for investigations.
• Lead Major Incident investigations and technical response activities.
• Analyse advanced network, endpoint and cloud security events.
• Coach and develop SOC Analysts through real-time guidance and feedback.
