Job summary

Searchability NS&D in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced SOC Shift Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy Security Operations Centre on an onsite basis. You will remain hands-on with investigations and serve as the senior escalation point during your shift.

You will lead major incident investigations, analyse security events, and drive improvements to detection logic. You will mentor SOC analysts and work closely with engineering teams to enhance capabilities, with active SC

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior SOC Analyst or SOC Lead.
• Experience leading complex cyber security investigations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk Enterprise Security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational delivery of a busy Security Operations Centre and act as senior escalation point during shift.
• Lead Major Incident investigations and technical response activities.
• Analyse advanced network, endpoint and cloud security events to drive improvements.
• Coach and develop SOC Analysts through real-time guidance and feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance detection capabilities.
