Job summary

White Horse Employment Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Coordinator in Warminster to support project activity across our client’s business. You will obtain quotes, compare supplier offers and raise purchase orders to align with company procedures.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent organisation and attention to detail, with direct supplier communications and onboarding of new vendors. This is an in-person, on-site position based in Warminster.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or a similar admin role.
• Experience in construction, civils or contracting (desirable).
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence talking to suppliers and negotiating prices.

Responsibilities

• Get quotes for materials, plant, equipment and subcontractor services.
• Compare quotes on price, quality, lead times and terms, and recommend the best option.
• Raise and manage accurate purchase orders in line with company procedures.
• Handle supplier enquiries and routine price negotiations.
• Help onboard new suppliers and subcontractors and keep our approved supplier list up to date.
