Job summary

83zero is seeking an experienced Core Deployment & 5G Slice Integration Engineer to deploy and integrate mobile core networks for Private 5G and enterprise connectivity. You will work across multi-vendor platforms and interface with RAN, IP transport, and enterprise applications while provisioning subscribers and configuring network services.

The role demands hands-on expertise with 4G EPC, 5G Core, and network slicing, plus collaboration with customers and partners to design deployment

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Mobile Core Network Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with 4G EPC, 5G Core, Private 5G Core, network slicing.
• Experience integrating Core with RAN and IP Transport networks.
• Strong knowledge of AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, AUSF, PCF and Subscriber Management.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate mobile core network solutions for Private 5G and enterprise networks.
• Install, configure and upgrade core network software components.
• Configure core network services and management platforms.
• Manage subscriber provisioning, SIM management, APN/DNN configuration and service profiles.
• Support 5G network slicing configuration and validation.
• Integrate core networks with RAN, IP Transport networks and enterprise applications.
• Execute end-to-end connectivity, ATP and acceptance testing.
• Perform alarm validation, fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support software upgrades, licensing activities and backup/restore procedures.
• Produce deployment documentation and technical reports.
• Support technical workshops and solution discussions.
• Translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
