Job Summary

As part of Apogee’s Managed Print Service, the Onsite Service Assistant supports and maintains print devices at our client's location. This role utilises remote monitoring software and incident management applications to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor print devices using remote software and floor-walking.
  2. Respond to service requests and maintain business equipment per SLAs.
  3. Escalate issues promptly when necessary.
  4. Ensure cleanliness, updated service labels, and proper functioning of client devices.
  5. Manage toner, paper, and consumable replenishment.
  6. Report activity and device performance to Area Service Manager.
  7. Assist with device installations, moves, and maintenance of records.

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (NE1) 5 days per week, with no remote working.
