Job summary

Capita Recruiting Partnering Project is seeking a dedicated Physical Training Instructor/Assessor to guide candidates through a structured assessment journey at the Army Assessment Centre in Glencorse. The role is onsite, 37.5 hours/week, with one overnight chaperone and weekly on-call duties, plus one weekend per month.

You’ll provide clear guidance, coach fitness activities, and support wellbeing. Salary listed as £27,500 with 23 days holiday (27 with accrual), pension, life assurance,

Qualifications

• CVQ Level 2 Physical Training qualification with CPD support.
• Confident instructor and skilled coach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• First Aid trained (desirable).

• Briefing, delivering and scoring assessments under test conditions
• Supporting candidates with clear guidance and encouragement
• Coaching physical activities safely and effectively
• Promoting wellbeing through advice on fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle
