Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Logistics / Materials & Stock Controller in Stevenage to ensure timely delivery of kits, consumables and raw materials to production, assembly and test areas. You will manage inventory, track demand and shipments and support interplant logistics in a clean, high-security environment.

The role requires experience with materials handling, SAP, and working with high-value equipment, with a 6-month contract and 37-hour weeks on-site. BPSS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials handling, logistics or stock/inventory control.
• Experience using SAP for inventory or stock control.
• Experience working in a Class 100 cleanroom.
• Experience with kit compilation and material distribution.
• Experience handling flight, sensitive or high-value equipment.
• Good IT literacy and numeracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate compilation, control and delivery of kits, consumables and raw materials to production, assembly, integration and test areas.
• Manage inventory, monitor material demand and supply shipments, support interplant logistics and expedite parts to meet production schedules.
• Perform stock rationalisation, cycle counting, shelf-life control and handle hazardous, high-value or sensitive equipment.
