AWE is recruiting a Material Specialist to oversee Material Management, warehousing, inventory and stock control at Aldermaston, Reading. The role is fully onsite within a logistics environment and requires leadership of operations staff to ensure safe, compliant and efficient processes.

The starting salary is £35,000 plus allowances, with a 9-day working fortnight and flexible working arrangements where possible.

Responsabilidades

• Working within a Logistics environment undertaking picking, packing, stock rotation, quarantining, disposing and clearing and distributing locally, nationally and internationally.
• Lead and task manage operations staff to carry out processes; verify tasks conform with plan, standards and instructions while ensuring training and competence for safe operation.
• Deliver stand up accountability meetings / PLOWs / PLODs to maintain focus and ensure efficient delivery in support of Operations/Program.
• Physical material control and Record Management of all inventory stock across business areas; manage movements and records.
• Participate in annual stock audits initiated by centralised audit and assurance.
• Conduct data analytics over systems for accuracy and asset characterization supporting material control teams.
• Initiate and participate in physical inventory counts; update electronic records for auditing; support metric development.
• Collate and interpret data into infographics/reports to maintain performance dashboards for Non-Nuclear Material Operations.
• Maintain SharePoint ownership and ensure GDPR-compliant, up-to-date information.
