Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Full Stack AI Engineer for an onsite role in Scunthorpe. You will own development using AI coding tools, starting with a PHP/Laravel project and expanding to internal applications across the business.

You’ll review AI-generated code for security and maintainability, with a clear progression path toward AI Implementation Lead, shaping AI strategy within a long-established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full stack development experience delivering standalone apps.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Able to own development, testing and deployment from requirements.
• Willingness to work onsite in Scunthorpe.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack development using AI tools to accelerate delivery.
• Initial PHP/Laravel project, followed by other internal applications.
• Own development, testing and deployment from supplied requirements.
• Review and validate generated code for security, correctness and maintainability.
• Longer-term progression towards AI implementation across the business.
• Fully onsite in Scunthorpe, 36.5 hours per week - Mon-Fri.
