Job summary

AmcoGiffen is seeking Semi Skilled Operatives to join its Scotland Civil Engineering team, supporting major power infrastructure projects across the country. Initial placement is Lockerbie with travel across Scotland required.

You will join a skilled civils team delivering essential infrastructure for Scotland’s energy network, with opportunities to move to other projects in the Scotland portfolio after the initial phase.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is essential.
• Experience on civil engineering or groundwork projects.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Reliable, hardworking and team‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel and work across Scotland as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient delivery of civil works on site.
• Work with Supervisors, Foremen and Site Management teams.
• General civil engineering and groundwork activities.
• Installation of ducting and drainage systems.
• Kerbing and finishing works.
• In-situ concrete placement and reinforcement installation.
• Formwork activities and plant operations support.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety on site.
