Job summary

UK Health Security Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Capital Works Programme at Porton Down. You will lead complex capital, infrastructure and refurbishment projects valued up to £5m, ensuring safety, compliance and delivery within time, cost and quality targets.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to realise strategic objectives. Based on Porton Down, Salisbury, you will work on-site within the Estates, Engineering and Facilities Department,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital, engineering and infrastructure projects through full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and statutory compliance for regulated environments.
• Evidence of leading multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of capital, engineering and infrastructure projects within agreed scope, time and budget.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, procurement and contractual arrangements.
• Develop and monitor benefits realisation plans to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Establish project controls, governance and risk management to support informed choices.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards; promote a positive safety culture.
• Support sustainability objectives by integrating environmental considerations into delivery.
• Lead and motivate teams; contribute to best practice across UKHSA Estates, Engineering and Facilities.
