Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a permanent Draughtsman in West Yorkshire. The role focuses on producing AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawings for canopies, balustrades, steel stairs and specialist metalwork products, with GA and fabrication drawings. You’ll work from architect/engineer/site measurements and occasionally visit sites.

Flexible working from home with occasional site visits; start date after Christmas. Salary £45,000–£55,000 per annum, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Architectural metalwork draughting background
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Strong knowledge of current building regulations and building control requirements
• Ability to coordinate information from multiple trades
• Experience producing GA and fabrication drawings

Responsibilities

• Producing 2D and 3D drawings for canopies, balustrades, steel stairs and specialist metalwork products
• Producing GA and manufacturing drawings
• Working from architect, engineer and site-measured information
• Attending occasional site visits (site surveys are usually handled in-house)
