ETL Systems Ltd in Hook is seeking a detail‑oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will build, fit and test components from technical drawings, using a range of hand tools and precision equipment to deliver high-quality finished products.

Working 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs/week), this 6‑month fixed‑term contract emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration within a busy production environment. BPSS compliance is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to inspect parts and test finished products.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to assemble components.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments safely.
• Inspect incoming parts and test finished products to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and escalate complex faults.
• Record production data and test results in a clear, timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and follow PPE guidelines.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily schedules.
