Job summary

Subsea7 in Westhill, Aberdeen invites applications for an onshore Deputy Vessel Superintendent within Offshore Delivery. You will support the Vessel Superintendent to maintain assets in safe condition, ensure class/flag compliance and optimise availability and efficiency while adhering to budgets.

The role involves leading safety initiatives, coordinating maintenance, managing budgets, and interfacing with Fleet, DPA/CSO, and project teams to meet asset requirements across offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Naval Architect, Marine Engineer, or equivalent engineering background with leadership potential.
• Experience in an engineering or operations based role aboard vessels or offshore assets.
• Knowledge of IMO, Class, Flag and ISM requirements.
• Strong communication, planning and budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture onboard and support HSEQ activities.
• Ensure vessel compliance with IMO, Class, Flag and ISM requirements.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with regional operations.
• Prepare and manage OPEX budgets for crew, M&R, and consumables.
• Supervise major works planning, dry-docking, and CAPEX projects.
• Collaborate with Fleet, Project management, and offshore teams on operational matters.
• Produce monthly technical, financial and safety reviews.
