Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited, on behalf of ConocoPhillips, is seeking experienced Field Process Operators for the Seal Sands Teesside site. The role involves safe operation, monitoring and optimisation of complex plant systems with responsibility for start-up, shutdown and handovers.

The ideal candidate will have strong process knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams to maintain high standards of process safety and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Process Plant Operations or equivalent.
• Experience in a continuous process or high-hazard environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-first approach with the confidence to stop work and escalate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor and optimise process plant and equipment.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown and routine operating activities.
• Monitor process conditions, respond to alarms and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Carry out field operations and DCS/control-room activities.
• Support plant isolations, Permit to Work (PTW) systems and maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate operational records and deliver effective shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety standards and process limits.
