Prospero Teaching is seeking a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in GCSE English, Maths or Science. You will bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs, using engaging online methods and a passion for helping students from diverse backgrounds.

The role is online and part-time, with hours varying by pupil needs. Candidates must have QTS or equivalent, at least 1 year UK classroom experience, confidence delivering online sessions and safeguarding

Online Tutors (all subjects) Job - Online

Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in either GCSE English, Maths or Science.

The Opportunity

This Online Tutor Opportunity is for a professional tutor and qualified UK teacher to bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their Maths skills.

At Prospero Teaching it is our mission to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for Maths tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

• Minimum rate of pay - £28 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Online Tutor:

• QTS or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience

• Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Maths Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
