Prospero Teaching is seeking a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in GCSE English, Maths or Science. You will support learners online, bridging gaps and raising attainment with engaging, student-centred lessons.

This part-time contract role requires UK classroom experience and QTS or equivalent. You must be comfortable teaching online, hold the right to work in the UK, and be able to provide two professional references.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in either GCSE English, Maths or Science.

The Opportunity

This Online Tutor Opportunity is for a professional tutor and qualified UK teacher to bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their Maths skills.

At Prospero Teaching it is our mission to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for Maths tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Online Tutor:

• QTS or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
• Be confident teaching sessions online
• Provide a firm but fair approach
• Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Maths Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
