Job summary

Ofcom is seeking Policy Advisors to support the Online Safety Group in developing and delivering regulatory policy under the Online Safety Act 2023. The role focuses on shaping policy across online services, implementing codes, and collaborating with legal, technologists, economists, and researchers.

You will engage with cross-functional colleagues to develop robust policy, manage projects, and publish concise consultation documents and research reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory policy development and drafting clear policy documents.
• Ability to analyse data sources and write concise briefings.
• Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee online safety policy work in line with the Online Safety Act 2023.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, tech, economics, and research.
• Produce clear policy documents, briefings, and consultation materials for internal and external use.
• Manage projects, plan activities, and coordinate with service providers and regulators.
• Keep abreast of online regulation trends and communicate implications to stakeholders.
