Position: Freelance

We are looking for freelance News Reporters with an impressive track record of finding and breaking exclusive stories of national and global interest and experience of working at a local or regional newspaper.

Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines. They will also be able to work self-sufficiently and generate fresh, original content for our ever-growing readership.

Requirements Include

• NCTJ or equivalent qualification
• Significant newsroom experience
• Ability to generate own news stories
• Keen eye for photographs
• Strong understanding of UK media law
• Flexibility regarding shift patterns
