Job summary

Tesco is seeking a placement to help develop and operate its online shopping experience from Welwyn Garden City. The role focuses on agile, fast learning, and delivering improvements across squads such as Whoosh, Marketplace, F&F and Availability.

About the role

Our online function delivers a seamless online shopping experience for millions of customers. Your placement will be centred around developing and running our online operation. We work agile in Online, meaning we test, learn and move quickly. Some of our squads include Whoosh, Marketplace, F&F and Availability.

You will be responsible for

• Keep an eye on the external market and competitors to suggest opportunities to grow
• Develop new ideas and innovations to grow the Online business, making it even better for our customers
• Use different tools such as Kantar, Circana, Tableau to gather data

Working at our Welwyn Garden City campus

Our leafy, green campus is just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1, and with frequent trains running to Finsbury Park in just 20 minutes (free shuttle buses take you between the station and office), the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
