Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking online 1:1 tutors to support children and young people with SEN and ASC. You can set your own schedule and hourly rate, receive direct booking requests, and work remotely after onboarding.

Ideal candidates have SEN/ASC experience, at least 12 months of tutoring, a bachelor’s degree in progress or completed with A-Levels, excellent English, UK work rights, and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience supporting learners with SEN and ASC.
• At least 12 months of teaching or tutoring experience.
• In progress of or completed a bachelor’s degree, plus completed A-Levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Proven ability to implement adapted learning plans, visual supports, and interest-led strategies for neurodivergent learners.
• A compassionate, patient, and nurture-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide online 1:1 tutoring to learners with SEN/ASC.
• Tailor lessons using adapted plans and visual supports.
• Engage and monitor progress, communicate with families.
• Maintain DBS compliance and onboarding requirements.

What You Need

Location & Onboarding Requirement

Please note: While these are online tutoring roles, all candidates must attend an in-person interview and vetting process before commencing work. You must be based within reasonable travelling distance of our operating locations (London, Surrey, Manchester, Kent, or surrounding areas) to complete onboarding. Candidates unable to attend an in-person interview cannot be considered.
