Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking a dedicated PMLD Tutor to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities in Surrey. This role offers flexible, short-term or permanent placements with 1:1 learning environments, and you can set your own schedule and hourly rate.

Candidates should have 12 months teaching or tutoring experience, a bachelor's degree or in progress, strong English, and an Enhanced DBS. In-person interview and vetting apply, with travel within Surrey or nearby areas.

What You Need

• Mandatory experience supporting learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and SEN
• At least 12 months of teaching or tutoring experience
• In progress of or completed a bachelor's degree, plus completed A-Levels
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proven ability to adapt curricula, support multi-sensory strategies, and manage complex physical or communication needs
• A compassionate, nurture-focused approach to learning

Location & Onboarding Requirement

While both in-person and online tutoring is offered, all candidates must attend an in-person interview and vetting process. You must be based within reasonable travelling distance of Surrey (or surrounding operating areas) to be considered.
