Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Cumbria offers a paid Management Placement and Internship Programme for undergraduates. You’ll gain real-world experience across customer service, sales, marketing, and operations while receiving mentorship and training to kickstart your career.

You’ll work in a hands-on environment, with opportunities to dive into finance, logistics, and leadership development, while contributing to the success of a growing mobility business in the UK.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students considered for Management Placement and Internship Programme based on demonstrated competencies.
• Must hold a full manual UK or EU driving licence; accommodations available for certain disabilities.
• No drug or alcohol related offences on driving record within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by handling reservations, resolving enquiries, and building rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Engage in sales and marketing activities; connect with local business partners and develop relationships.
• Understand financial mechanics, cost control, and interpret profit and loss statements.
• Learn fleet management, planning, and strategic performance improvement in operations and logistics.
• Take part in mentoring, training, and potentially leading others as you grow.

Responsibilities

You’ll have the chance to apply what you already know, while building a powerful set of hard and soft skills that you might not have expected. You’ll develop skills in:

Customer Service: deliver exceptional experiences by confidently handling reservations, resolving enquiries, and building rapport with a diverse range of customers.

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement and Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
• You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years is permitted.
