Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Cumbria seeks an intern for a Year Management Placement Programme. You’ll gain real world experience across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations while contributing to a busy mobility business.

Based in one of our retail branches, you’ll build practical skills from day one, with mentoring, classroom learning, and opportunities for promotion within a paid placement that fosters growth and diverse voices.

Qualifications

• Open to all undergraduate students; evaluation based on competencies.
• Must have full manual UK or EU driving licence; accommodations for disabled applicants.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record in last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by handling reservations, resolving inquiries, and building rapport.
• Develop sales and marketing connections with local partners and networks.
• Understand financials, cost control, and profitability basics.
• Learn fleet operations, planning, and performance driving.
• Lead and mentor peers, with opportunities to grow into management roles.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement and Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
• You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years is permitted.
