SEN Teacher - Make a Lasting Impact in Driffield

Location:Driffield and surrounding areas (case dependent)

Working Days:Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)

Hours:9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working available)

Pay Rate:£30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)

Focus:One-to-One Teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs

We're looking for experiencedSEN Teachersto work one-to-one with students who need extra support to succeed. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in both academic and emotional development.

What You'll Do

• Create a Safe and Supportive Environment:Build trust and consistency to help students feel secure and ready to learn.
• Deliver Bespoke Lessons:Design and implement individualised learning plans that reflect each student's strengths and challenges.
• Work Collaboratively with Families:Partner with parents and carers to ensure a joined-up approach to support.
• Encourage Growth and Confidence:Use creative, empathetic teaching to build resilience, self-esteem, and academic achievement.
• Lead by Example:Promote positive behaviours and values that inspire lifelong learning and personal development.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)
• Minimum of two years' teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
• Experience across Key Stages 1 to 4
• Excellent English skills and a background in SEN education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Legal right to work in the UK
