Job description

Location: East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-to-one tutoring sessions to students
• Create individualised lesson plans based on student's needs and goals
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Help students develop study skills and improve academic performance
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in a one-to-one setting
• Strong knowledge of the UK education system and curriculum
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students effectively
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Proficient in assessing student needs and adapting teaching methods
• Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
