Job description

Are you passionate about helping students excel in Maths and English? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide high-quality tuition to students of various ages and abilities.

About the Role:

1. Provide engaging one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English.
2. Support students in building confidence, improving skills, and achieving their academic goals.
3. Tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs and styles.
4. Track progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

Contract/Position Details:

1. Location – Cambridge
2. Position – one-to-one tutor
3. Type of work – Contract
4. Duration – dependent on each student
5. Contract type – Temporary
6. Availability – Part-time and full-time depending on availability
7. Minimum pay rate – £25 per hour
8. Working hours – Minimum 1 hour per session, maximum 3 hours per session

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

1. QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent
2. At least 6 months of experience working in a UK school
3. Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
2. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
3. Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
