Are you a compassionate and dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? A fantastic school in Lambeth , near Balham Station , is seeking a committed One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) on a full-time basis.

The Role - One-to-One Teaching Assistant

• Provide tailored support to a Year 3 student with MLD , helping them access the curriculum.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
• Assist with academic tasks, communication, and social development.
• Create a nurturing and structured environment to encourage progress.
• Monitor and report on the student's progress to support their learning journey.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant , preferably in SEN support .
• Understanding of MLD and strategies to support children with additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
• A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
