Job summary

Beacon Support Ltd. is recruiting Specialist One-to-One Study Skills and Strategy Support Tutors to work with Higher Education students on a flexible, face-to-face basis across the Newcastle region and nationally.

You will support students with specific learning differences, hold professional membership with PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild, and develop Individual Learning Plans. The role offers £36 per hour, induction training, and a dynamic CPD programme within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold professional membership with PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild.
• Experience working with individuals with specific learning differences, ideally in higher or further education.
• Welsh language skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one study skills support to higher education students.
• Develop and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for students.
• Participate in CPD and training programmes to enhance support provision.
