Job summary

Randstad Student Support is recruiting a Specialist Study Skills Mentor (DSA-Funded) for the University of St Andrews. You will deliver tailored study skills guidance, helping students develop independence and effective learning strategies in a flexible, PAYE role.

Ideal candidates hold an Undergraduate Degree (Level 6) with relevant experience and will adhere to the DfE framework. The role offers weekly pay and full employee benefits, including pension and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• DSA funded role aligned with DfE qualification framework.
• Undergraduate Degree (Level 6 minimum) with relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist one-to-one study skills support to students.
• Develop individual learning plans tailored to student needs.
• Help students build independence, organisation and time management skills.
• Support research skills, including identifying sources and correct referencing.
• Improve reading and writing comprehension.
