Sir Robert Hitcham CEVA Primary School in Suffolk is seeking a one-to-one SEND Teaching Assistant to support an early years pupil. The role includes lunch duty and working under teaching staff to implement the pupil's Education Health Care Plan, including intimate care.

The post is part-time (30 hours/week, 38 weeks/year), fixed term, starting asap. Closing date: 9am 2 November 2026; interview week of 9 November 2026.

• Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 3.15 pm, term time only

Sir Robert Hitcham CEVAP School are seeking a one to one SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team.

The role will involve one to one support for a pupil in early years. This also includes a lunch duty within the school day.

The role will involve working under the guidance of teaching staff to promote the learning and personal development of the pupil, following the pupil's Education Health Care Plan. This includes supporting with intimate care.

*This is a fixed term appointment to provide support to a named pupil with Special Educational Needs which will continue until such time as that named pupil either leaves the school or no longer requires the type of support being provided, at which time that contract will automatically expire unless terminated earlier by you or by the Sir Robert Hitcham CEVA Primary School. The support is expected to last for approximately 6 years, although the school cannot guarantee you any minimum or maximum period of employment. In accepting this appointment, you would agree that, as stated, when the pupil no longer requires the support, your contract of employment will be terminated.
