Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking a SEND Maths Tutor for in-person sessions in Somerset. You will provide tailored one-to-one Maths support for a student with additional learning needs, adapting lessons to individual abilities and interests.

You will work with the student’s education team and parents to set achievable goals, monitor progress and adjust sessions to ensure steady academic and personal growth. Right to work in the UK required and safeguarding checks will apply.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Maths to secondary pupils.
• Proven ability to support learners with SEND in one-to-one or small-group settings.
• Ability to adapt Maths lessons to individual learning needs and styles.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and positive rapport-building with students.
• Strong communication with student, parents/carers and education teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, engaging Maths sessions to the student in Somerset.
• Collaborate with the student’s education team and parents to set clear learning goals.
